Summer Institute 2009: Workplace Literacy and Essential Skills

 Papers and Case Studies

Before the Summer Institute, participants were sent 'think papers' by Katherine Percy, Frances Graham and John Benseman and, with the permission of author Mike Rose, the introduction to his book The Mind at Work: Valuing the Intelligence of the American Worker. The papers are available below. You can also take a look at Mike Rose's blog to find out more about his book (and it can also be borrowed from The Centre for Literacy library).

Another page features supporting documents for the presentations made by participants at the Institute.
