Joe Brown is Program Coordinator of the One Journey Initiative with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Workforce Development.  Active in the field of adult education as a volunteer tutor, instructor, writer and administrator, Joe has partnered with industry through the Workplace Education Program and One Journey for twelve years, brokering over 130 programs in many sectors.  He has published The View From Here: An Oral History of Eastern Passage: 1864-1945 and the instructional video, “Tutor Training for Literacy Volunteers.”
