The Centre for Literacy is home to one of Canada’s largest special library collections on adult literacy, basic skills, and related topics in education. Our collection includes:

• High-interest, low-level reading materials for adult new readers
• Program and professional development tools
• Research – governmental, academic & community-based – on every aspect of literacy
• Documentation on literacy policies in Canada and internationally
• Selected journals on adult literacy and basic education
